Beauty Review: Boscia Black Mask (Rated: MSM or Me Sans Makeup:)

Today I tried the Boscia Luminizing Black Mask.
Here are some pics showing things I learned about the mask along the way.
At the end of the post I will tell you how it all worked out and if the mask lived up to the following description from Sephora (aka my mecca):

A groundbreaking, mineral-rich mask that peels off to deliver powerful detoxifying, purifying, and brightening effects.

What it is formulated to do:
This jet-black, mineral-rich mask creates a unique peel-off effect that delivers powerful detoxifying, purifying, and brightening results. Made with a premier-quality clay, its deep-cleansing properties draw out dirt and oil. Other natural ingredients go to work exfoliating skin and refining pores. Powerful antioxidants shrink pores, firm skin, and reduce inflammation. Once dried, the mask strips away dead skin, impurities and excess oil to reveal immediate and visible results.

I love this brand because it contains no:

Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances, Synthetic Dyes,

Petrochemicals, Phthalates, GMOs or Triclosan

 So let the masking begin!!!

First:

It stays wet looking like that for a while. The directions say to leave it on for 15-20 minutes or until dry.  I think I got my mask too thin so it only took about 10 minutes for it to get tight and itchy.

I started peeling it off of the at the top of my forehead. I would totally do it thicker next time because it took several tries to get the mask to start peeling back.

Starting to peel

(It does not feel good.. like less painful waxing..it better be peeling all 30 years of dry skin off of my face)

Halfway done...sad clown face.

The left overs. Check out that business in my eyebrows....yep, that took some very delightful pulling and finally rubbing with a wet rag to remove.

So shocked at how luminous my skin looks...it was so worth the discomfort (beauty really is pain, my lovees).

Slight bit of erythema (redness) since I'm a bit sensitive (but we knew that:). But, it went away fairly quickly.

Success!!! Skin is more luminous and feels clean and fantastic...I think I look 29 again:).

So, here's the deal...I really like this mask but here is a recap of what

you should know before using:

1. Apply a thick layer all over your face AVOIDING the eyebrows, hairline and under-eye area.

2. Wait until it is completely dry to peel it off.

3. It's going to hurt a little...but it's worth it.

 4.  Remove any residual mask with a warm washcloth that you don't mind ruining (I don't think this business is going to come out of fabric).

5. Get ready to be GOR-JUS!!!

 Enjoy my lovelies!!
